01Acceptance and Eligibility
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to the applicable Terms and Privacy Policy. The service is intended for adults legally eligible to marry. Accounts must not be created for children. You must provide accurate information and use the service only for genuine matrimonial purposes.
02Nature of Services
Parichay Matrimony provides an online matrimonial discovery and communication platform, with optional paid features and assisted matchmaking services where offered. We do not guarantee a successful match, engagement or marriage. The availability and scope of services may change.
03Registration and Account Security
Provide truthful and updated age, marital status, contact, education, occupation and other relevant information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and OTPs private and for activity under your account. Notify support promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
04Profile Content and Verification
You are responsible for profile information, photographs, statements and documents you submit. Do not impersonate others, publish misleading information or upload content without permission. Any verification badge or review indicates limited checks only; it is not a guarantee of a person’s identity, background or intentions.
05Member Conduct and Safety
Use the platform respectfully. Harassment, threats, scams, abusive messages, unsolicited advertising, unlawful activity, requests for advance money and scraping of member data are prohibited. Independently verify information before making commitments. Arrange meetings in public and inform trusted contacts.
06Search, Interests, Chat and Contacts
The platform may provide profile search, shortlist, interest requests, messages and access to contact details subject to the relevant plan and member privacy preferences. Do not redistribute member photos, phone numbers or messages without authorization. Member privacy controls and entitlement checks may affect what you can view.
07Photo and Contact Privacy
Where available, a member may select visibility such as all eligible viewers, paid members or mutually accepted interests. Certain profile data needed for matchmaking may remain visible under the chosen settings. These controls are subject to technical limitations and changes described in the Privacy Policy.
08Membership, Fees and Plan Benefits
Paid features, validity, contact limits, assisted service scope and any promotional prices are governed by the plan details displayed at purchase. You should review those details before paying. Features are personal to the registered member and may not be transferred.
09Cancellation and Refunds
The existing published policy states that membership and renewal fees are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. This does not override applicable consumer rights, statutory remedies or refunds required by law. Any exceptions and the process for disputed, duplicate or failed payments should be confirmed with support.
10Payment Processing
Payments may be processed by third-party gateways such as PhonePe or other providers actually enabled on the website. Transactions are subject to the gateway’s terms and privacy notice. Do not share card PINs, UPI PINs or OTPs with other members or support agents.
11Fraud, Reporting and Suspension
Report suspicious profiles and misuse through support tools or by email. We may investigate reports and restrict, suspend or close accounts for violations, suspected fraud, legal requirements or platform safety. Where appropriate and lawful, members may be given an opportunity to clarify or appeal.
12Intellectual Property
The Parichay Matrimony name, branding, website code and original site content belong to their respective owners. You retain rights in content you submit and grant the platform a limited permission to host and display that content for providing the service, subject to privacy settings and applicable law.
13Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data handling, photo/contact visibility, retention, cookies, deletion and member rights are explained in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion does not necessarily erase information that must legally be retained or records relevant to fraud prevention or disputes.
14Third-Party Links and Services
Links to external websites or services are for convenience. Third-party services operate under their own terms. We do not control their content or practices, except where applicable law places responsibilities on us.
15Disclaimers and Liability
Member-supplied information may be incomplete or inaccurate. To the extent permitted by applicable law, services are offered subject to availability, and we are not responsible for the independent choices or conduct of members. Nothing here excludes non-excludable statutory rights or liability.
16Changes and Discontinuation
We may update website features, plans or these Terms. Material changes should be communicated as required by law. The version and effective date of the final published Terms should be recorded above; continued use after applicable notice may constitute acceptance where legally valid.
17Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protection and other applicable jurisdiction rules, disputes may be brought before the competent courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
